Interested in training to teach in a local primary school?
The School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme is typically a year-long course which enables you to learn ‘on the job’ from the very beginning. The key advantage of this training is that you will be working and learning every day in a local school, and consequently gaining great insight into what teaching involves.
At the end of the year you have Qualified Teacher Status and will be able to apply for roles in any primary maintained or independent school. Our SCITT provider is George Abbot SCITT.
To find out more about this route into teaching please explore the information and events organised by George Abbot SCITT.
